ASSIST-TO-ADOPT (A2A) PROGRAM: When you need to re-home your pet but, we do not have room to take it in, EARS offers the Assist-to-Adopt Program. Your pet remains in your home while we use our "Wish List", our website and our internet presence to find a new home for your cat or dog. The A2A program allows us to help more animals and more of you even during those times when we have run out of room and/or fosters. If your pet is spayed/neutered, healthy and is up-to-date on shots we will be happy to help. Call our Adoption Manager, Deva Ballantyne (941-681-3877), to set up an appointment to meet with you and your pet and complete paperwork.HOW IT WORKS: Deva will schedule Bobbi Austin, a professional animal photographer, will photograph your pet(s). Pictures and descriptions will be listed on our web site as well as on a national pet registry of available adoptable animals which can be searched on the Internet. We pre-screen interested adopters and schedule them to come to your home and meet your pet(s) at your convenience. Once a new pet parent has been approved the transfer will take place at EARS Pet Store and Adoption Center, 145 W. Dearborn, Englewood.
TO QUALIFY: Your pet must be spayed or neutered. You must have proof of current rabies shots on hand and you must have the time to keep the animal in your home until we find a new owner.
FEES: Please inquire about the fees associated with this program.

Ashley is a 6 year old spayed female, pure bred Siberian Husky. Ashley is very friendly, likes kids and other dogs. She is house-broken and crate trained. Ashley's owner spends to much time away from home, so he figures it would be best for her to find a new family that is able to spend the time she deserves with her. She knows commands and is up to date with all of her shots.
