How do I see the EARS animals?
Most of EARS animals live in foster homes. Occasionally, one or two cats will spend a short amount of time at the EARS office at 145 W. Dearborn Street in Englewood. If you would like to meet and get to know a dog or cat, please call the EARS office at 941/475-0636 and our staff will set up an appointment for you. You will either meet the animal at the EARS office or at the foster home where it lives.
You may view several animals at once by attending the EARS Adoptathons held each month in various locations. Again, call the office for information, dates, times.
How does one become an animal foster?
If you are interested in fostering a dog or cat, call us at 941-475-0636 and we'll mail you a foster application or arrange for you to come by the office to fill one out. Once the paperwork is completed, a home study must be done. An EARS staff member will make an appointment to come to your home to chat with you and confirm the process. New fosters are always needed, so please call today!
