EARS' Adoption Process

EARS goal is to help you to find a four-legged best friend that matches your wishes and needs.  Before you come in you may want to think about your preferences and lifestyle. Are you an active person? Do you want a less active dog? Do you like certain breeds? Do you have a preference for short-haired or long-haired cats? We recommend that anyone who will be living with the new pet comes in to participate in the adoption process so that all will feel comfortable with the adoption.

Please visit the EARS Pet Store & Adoption Center  to learn about  the pets available for adoption.  No appointment is necessary during regular hours. Our selection of animals can change daily. You may fill out an an Adoption Application at the store or online.  Please understand that the questions are not meant to be intrusive. Our careful approach to making satisfying, lifelong matches can spare your family a painful experience.  So please be patient, we know that you and the animals are depending on us.

Our Adoption fee includes :

  • Sterilization (spay or neuter)
  • Overall wellness check
  • Age-appropriate vaccinations (including Rabies)
  • First de-worming (hookworms, roundworms & tapeworms)
  • Microchip and registration
  • Heartworm, Anaplasma, Borrelia & Ehrlichia test for dogs
  • Feline Leukemia, FIV & Heartworm test for cats
  • Flea/tick treatment
  • Free 30 days of Pet Insurance (Pet Health Inc.)

We have a unique retail selection for you and your pet.  Our prices are reasonable, our items high quality, and all proceeds go directly to support the pets in our care and EARS' animal rescue efforts.
