Many of these are former pets, given up, abandoned or cast off, unknowing victims of a stressful economy. Some are older, special needs or imperfect, but delightful creatures requiring expensive medication, diets, or operations and hours of daily care.

The EARS staff, volunteers and foster families are working very hard to meet the needs of our animals; we can't do it without your support, Please remember we are not subsidized by the government or any national organizations, nor do we receive United Way funding.  Our mission is to care for these animals until they become adopted or live out their natural lives.
